Idiot.

Idiot.
Cosy little journals..
It’s been a difficult day. Final deadline is closing in and you can FEEL how nervous everyone is just by walking around the studios. I had some batons cut and glued my hands to everything while trying to get them on my prints! Measured every single aspect of my wall/work possible, attempting to get them in the right place, but it’s all turned out well..

Sent off for graduation tickets and my gown too! “How do I measure my head circumference?” Haha.. It’s really odd thinking about leaving NUCA; it doesn’t feel real just yet! Hopefully things go well from this point onwards. Bring on the show!
NUCA Degree Show:
Private View: 26th June 4pm - 7pm
Running from 27th June - 3rd July (Except Sundays) 10am - 4pm
Finals printed and in the process of getting mounted. I finally feel like I’ve got somewhere, stop stressing! Happy happy happy. Chicago’s on, absolute fave! And it’s my birthday on Monday. Yes please and thank you.
Go find a hat? x

Thank you! :) If you ever get the opportunity to take any photos of any of it that you could send back to me, I’d appreciate it so much; always good to get different perspectives/feedback on it for the journal! x
You’re so sweet! Thank you so much! :)
Brilliant day of photographing my little hats around the city centre, so annoyed at the weather though, but I suppose that’s April for you. Got chatting to lots of people who were interested in what I was doing and hopefully some will get involved (I’ve got one hat coming back to me in the post)! :) Need to keep trying to get out and about in between showers..

Very odd little bits and pieces I found today..
I need to take more photos of things.
Yesterday, I learnt what double crochet is and how to make pom poms. So now I’m making lots of little tiny hats to go on various posts around town.. If you find one, or if you know someone who has, please get in touch!
Bad quality photo, but the label actually has abcd-emma.tumblr on it.
Got an exciting package in the post today; tagging my yarn bombs up!
Just spent roughly eight thousand years trying to change my background. I remember the days when I understood coding, back in the prehistoric times of MySpace… Oh well, I THINK it’s done now. Hopefully. Not worth the effort!
I’M GOING INSANE FROM HEARING THAT WALKERS ADVERT ON MY RADIO SO MUCH.
Anyway… Firstly, it turns out my Chapelfield piece hasn’t been taken down, someone’s just moved it right up to the very top of the post! Can’t believe I didn’t notice.. Very odd. Secondly, I had a little chat with my tutor about Yarn Bombing the other day, specifically for the degree show, he LOVED everything I had to say and gave me some really good ideas to be thinking about. VERY happy Emma :)
Also! I’ve started crocheting little covers for all my sketchbooks which is kind of cool. I’ll get some photos up when I locate Sam’s camera lead…
